Is there a minimum order or a delivery charge?
Short Answer: Champion seldom charges for delivery.
Long Answer: We actually try to avoid charging for deliveries. In fact, the overwhelming majority of our deliveries are made free of charge. Moving frozen food around is expensive; however, we can deliver your order at no charge if it is large enough to justify doing so. Happily, most of the youth organizations with which we work have very large fundraisers. Look at the map below to see what the minimum order for a free delivery is for your delivery location.
Once we know a little about your organization and how you intend to conduct the fundraiser, we can “guesstimate” how many items you are likely to sell. However, even if you miss meeting the minimum for a free delivery, the amount we actually charge for delivery will probably be a fraction of the actual cost of delivery. For example, if your organization is located anywhere in the purple area on the map and has 100 players participating in your fundraiser, and if it is offering a strong incentive program along with a motivational kickoff presentation, we are reasonably sure that it will sell approximately 1,200 items. If this projection proved to be true, there would be no charge for the delivery. However, let’s say, for whatever reason, your organization sold only 600 items, or 100 items short of the 700-item minimum for a free delivery. In this instance Champion would absorb most of the delivery cost. Your organization would therefore pay only a small fraction of the actual delivery cost.
