What if I can't sell all of the discount cards ordered?

Short Answer: This should never be a problem because Champion can provide tools to help your organization sell more discount cards than would otherwise have been possible. Even so, Champion backs up its discount card program with perhaps the most liberal return-for-refund policy of any discount card company.

Long Answer: Champion will always allow you to return up to 25% of the discount cards you last ordered—within 60 days of order shipment—for a full refund less a 25¢-per-card handling charge. For example, let’s say you order 1,000 discount cards, but your players do not sell them all. You would then be able to return up to 250 discount cards to Champion for a full refund, less a 25¢-per-card handling charge. We won’t even penalize you for sliding back into a lower volume discount level. After 60 days, we’ll apply a cash credit toward your next year’s purchase.

Order-Taker

However, Champion can make you feel even more secure about selling all of the discount cards that were ordered. If you are expecting each seller to sell, for example, 4 discount cards, we will assemble a packet for each player that includes the 4 discount cards they are expected to sell, plus we will include a customized discount card Order-Taker. Of course, many players are capable of selling many more than the 4 discount cards they received in their packet so, using the Order-Taker, they can take orders for as many discount cards as they wish—and their parents can take the Order-Taker to work to solicit even more discount card orders. Champion will even help you provide incentives to the players so they are motivated to sell more discount cards.

Another thing we can do is provide a discount card email attachment (in an email-safe PDF file format) so that players or their parents can email a detailed picture of your discount card—front and back—to any relatives or family friends who live within easy reach of the merchants that are listed on your discount card. When the player’s email recipients see your organization’s great merchant discounts, they’ll want to order a discount card for their own use. No other company does as much as Champion to make sure your fundraising experience is a very profitable one!

Keep in mind that your discount cards will be sold in the workplace and the people who purchase them may not live in your town, so be sure to include on your list businesses that have locations in neighboring towns. Also include different types of merchants—restaurants, pizza shops, auto service centers, amusement or entertainment businesses, coffee shops, sporting goods stores, etc. This will give your discount card wide appeal. Once we have your local merchants under contract, we will ask you to approve their offers before we print your discount cards.
