FAQ - Discount Cards

Is running a discount card fundraiser difficult?

Short Answer: No. Most of what you will do is hand out the discount cards on the front end of the fundraiser, and then collect the money on the back end.

not rocket science

Long Answer: Champion will do all that we can to leave as little work for you as is possible. We will get your local merchants under contract, and design and print your discount cards. Once you have the discount cards, you just need to have a way to distribute them. Whether you are giving them out at registration or when your teams have formed, just make sure that each player’s parent signs for the cards they take. If you are using an Order-Taker and a player incentive program, we will custom-design and print your Order-Taker, and then we will collate the Order-Takers and discount cards into packets which you can hand out with a brief explanation to each player. If you are doing a post-registration fundraiser and provide Champion with an Excel spreadsheet listing each player’s name, team name and division, we will even affix an identifying label to each fundraising packet and to an attached proof-of-receipt form at no charge. Once the packets have been given out, there’s really nothing to do until the “turn-in” date. At that point, your remaining task is to collect—or have your designated team parents collect—the completed Order-Takers and the money for the discount cards that have been sold.

They enabled our Little League to exceed our fundraising goals, and helped us to build a league-wide event that all of our players and their families enjoyed.
